CBD-Search Information and Comments
$1 - 1 month - 1 year

Here is an opportunity for you to not only help out an online ministry, but also a ministry based in Thailand.

CBD-Search was never meant to be a money making venture, but the beginnings of a service to offer Internet based technologies and services for use by the kingdom of God.

We came to realise that to be able to serve God, both online and in the local community, CBD-Search must be able to at least pay for itself. Currently, we easily earn enough to cover hosting and other mandatory costs, but certainly nothing towards development/admin time.

We would love to see the support of this service increase so that we can further improve it, and also release some of the more exciting technologies that we have been working on.

We would also love (and dream of) a time when the many hours of work & time that has been put into CBD-Search might help provide for us while we serve God in the community here in Thailand.

You can read more about what we are doing in Thailand by visiting our Blog and website. We dream to be able to use the income raised from Hayden's Internet work to help establish a foundation here in Thailand, and also to earn an income while working for the charity on a voluntary basis.

We are not asking for free handouts or donations, but for you to consider purchasing additional services at CBD-Search to help us out as well as increasing your advertising on the Internet.

We are not talking large amounts either. Of course, if you want to support us in any way, then you would be most welcome to, but we believe that if enough people purchase even our cheapest services, then this will add up to cover the costs of serving God here in Thailand and on the Internet.

Hence the title of this article, "$1 - 1 month - 1 year". Can you find services on the CBD-Search site where you could spend an average of $1 per month for at least a year?

Many Thanks,

and God Bless

Bogus Unsubscription Request Emails

Last month, we discovered that some of our advertisers have been recently receiving 'unsubscription' and 'password reminder' emails from CBD-Search, when they had not requested them.

We looked into this problem, and found that Google and some other web-robots had come across some of your emails from us (which include links to request instructions on how to unsubscribe from CBD-Search or for a password reminder) and when these robots index the resulting web page, the affected people were being sent the informational email [again] from us.

In recent weeks, we have audited every page on the CBD-Search website that performs an action based on a user arriving at the link, and have inserted a form requiring the user to enter a specified 'code'. This will stop the robots and other automated processes from being able to action such events on the site.

For those of you who have been receiving 'bogus' emails from CBD-Search: Sorry for the annoyance that this may have been to you, and thankyou for your patience while we sorted this problem.
