CBD-Search Information and Comments
Recent SPAM emails

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to those of you who have received either of the two SPAM emails that have been sent from our site recently.

As always, we remain committed to standing against SPAM, while also standing against the unethical behaviour, in the name of anti-SPAM of many organisations.

Unfortunately, because of the recent holidays, it took us a lot longer to realise and deal with the recent misuse of our site, and again, we apologise for this.

As you are aware, we have been recently putting in new procedures with regard to emails and contact from CBD-Search. This has been to help manage and maintain the data integrity of the site, and also to protect our users from SPAM, while also allowing them to be contactable via our site.

Sending SPAM via CBD-Search is currently a frustrating process, the SPAMMER having to create a legitimate email address, sign-up with us, agree with our policies and rules, and await email confirmation. They then must search laboriously for those of our advertisers who are contactable via our site.

We do have plans to further irritate those trying to use our site for SPAM, while still allowing legitimate communication to pass through, but you must bare with us as our development will be slowing down for the next few months.

In the meantime, if you have considered the recent SPAM emails sent via CBD-Search to be unacceptable, you can easily update your resource's listing at CBD-Search and mark yourself as non-contactable by email. If you do this, other users of CBD-Search will no longer be able to contact you via email, but will have to visit your website for contact details.

Please remember, if you received either of the two recent SPAM messages, as we noted, your email address remains secure and unavailable to the SPAMMER, unless you reply directly to the SPAM email.
